Jeremiah Psiropoulos is a professional wildlife biologist with 15 years of experience. After more than a decade with a federal agency, he decided to go into business for himself sharing his passion and enthusiasm for wildlife and photography with others. Originally from Oregon, he now lives on a ranch in Northwest Colorado, along with his wife Emily, her mother Penny, and their two dogs. The ranch is a former cattle operation that is now managed for native flora and fauna. It is home to sandhill cranes, sage and sharp-tailed grouse, elk, deer, pronghorn, and many more iconic species. The ranch is one of several private ranches that Antigone Wildlife Tours has exclusive access to. Antigone Wildlife Tours LLC is licensed, bonded, and insured in Colorado. Jeremiah is First Aid/CPR certified.
Who we are
Ethical birding - We have access to multiple leks and allow a rest period between visits so we don’t pressure the birds. We also maintain a reasonable distance from the lek so they are comfortable dancing and displaying.
We follow the American Birding Association’s guidelines Protecting Birds and Their Habitat:
Birders should actively support the protection of important bird habitats and avoid actions that could harm birds or their environment.
Minimizing Disturbance:
Exercise restraint and caution during observation, photography, sound recording, or filming to avoid stressing birds or exposing them to danger.
Respecting Others:
Respect the interests, rights, and skill levels of fellow birders, as well as people participating in other legitimate outdoor activities.
Following Laws and Regulations:
Adhere to all laws, rules, and regulations governing the use of roads, public areas, and private property.
Responsible Bird Feeding:
Ensure that feeders, nest structures, and other artificial bird environments are safe and clean.
Honesty and Integrity:
Always bird and report with honesty and integrity.
